Halton is a diverse area on the Western border of the GTA. Composed of four distinct towns, each has their own character. Oakville, the trendy suburb of Toronto with its growing Muslim community, is finding itself home to more and more halal establishments each day. Milton has exploded in population and a large percentage of those new residents are Muslims. From South Asian and Middle Eastern to Thai, Greek and traditional Canadian, halal options abound. Burlington and Halton Hills are more established communities, but each has its own unique offerings when it comes to halal eating.
