★★★☆☆ They served chicken and rice when I requested a muslim meal for my flight (NYC to LDN). The food was good but not great. They gave me a vegeterian sandwich for breakfast. I would recommend their service but you will get better halal meals in Emirates for sure. Posted on May 27, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Very disappointed with the meal. From the US to London they gave us an indian vegitarian meal which the whole family could not get through. for breakfast they didn't hand out reserved meals instead handed all of us a ham sandwich. When we complained they found some one else vegitarian meal. On the way back whilst halal not much better and no one finished the meals. Posted on September 2, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Flight from London to NY. Requested for muslim meal and got rice, chik peas and sabzi - children did not eat. Flight from NY to London requested Kosher and got a sausage meat - children did not eat. Make sure you make your choice on their website or with the travel agent. Next time I will try seafood option - hope it is better. The food is different for all routes so be careful when making your selection but do inform them in advance. Posted on January 14, 2009 |

★★★★☆ I was travelling to London from USA and I think the meal was very good. Nice chicken with rice and dessert. Also people make sure you ask your travel agent to make your meal HALAL. No Airline will have Halal extra food for people who just ask on plane. Posted on January 28, 2007 |

★★★★★ hi...
i was travelling from Bombay to London in Aug on Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, what they call as their business class. askd the senior airhostess if they serve halal meat on board, on which she said the meat is packed from the UK and it is not halal, she said the food served in Premium Economy and Economy is halal as the food was packed from India itself. then the next option was fish, which was good... ★☆☆☆☆ Even after reading all of the reviews on the website we still mistakenly went for the 'muslim' option, the food was not very nice, on the way back we didn't eat anything it was that bad - go for the normal veggie option! Posted on September 29, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ Muslim meal often not good on Euorpean airlines. If you are planning well ahead of time I will request "Indian Vegetarian", which is good. Posted on August 31, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ The halal meal is really the desi veggie meal. I would not recommend it. You are better off ordering a regular vegetarian meal. Posted on June 7, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ This muslim meal SUCKED. I would never get the muslim meal again because upon arriving at my destination, I was then sick for 10 days, and had to see a doctor in a foreign country. The doctor diagnosed me with a intestine virus that was probably contracted from eating VA food (since I immediately became sick after eating it and was already sick by the next flight on a different airline). I would recommend the vegetarian meal instead. They don't know how to serve proper muslim meals on VA. Posted on May 24, 2004 |

★★★★☆ The only time I ate chicken wings as part of the food in first class!! Not the best food for a model like me, but it was finger-lickin' good!!! I also had a veggie salad and a roast beef sandwich! Posted on May 19, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ We were served the Vegan meal as well on our last trip. I will be nice and refer to the meal as 'interesting,. We will order vegetarian as well next time. The woman in front of us had that and it looked quite a bit better than ours. Posted on January 10, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ The meal was very unsubstantive. I was served Tofu, I think I would have been better off with the Vegetarian meal. Posted on January 7, 2004 |
