AVS is a nonprofit association whose purpose is to monitor and ensure compliance with the ritual slaughter and the traceability of halal meat products. Restaurants are checked daily, three times a day, except Sundays (for there is no delivery of goods so far) where random checks are performed. Control is achieved by restoring as a lump sum of 500 euros per month, corresponding to the direct expenses of a controller over travel expenses to ensure a day's restaurants. AVS approved butchers are checked daily for free. Thus, we give a purpose to our certifications on the sites of production (what interest to score halal meat in paddle upstream if so downstream, the meat can not be found). With this free, the consumer we seek to move towards the halal by facilitating accessibility.
