★★★★☆ Decent place. I don't really like the lentil soup here. The food is good though, and the environment is very nice. A little pricey, but that should be expected in this part of town. Posted on August 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ I have made this restaurant my place to go when I want to eat out. I basically just stopped going to any other restaurants (I sometimes get a burger on the go from 8th & 39th to be honest).
Lamb shish Kebab, egg plant w tomato sauce, labne are outstanding. The Spinach pie is a superior appetizer, when baked fresh, that I think everyone should try. Posted on May 19, 2013 |

★★★★★ Loved the food !!! Tried it the first day we landed in NYC and it was delish ! The meat was very flavorful and tender ... The only downside is the price but it's ok given the area it was in. Plus I was so pleased with the food that I did not mind paying a little bit more :-) definitely recommend this place !!! Posted on March 31, 2013 |

★★★★★ MMM!! This place is FANTASTIC! I had the Lamb Adana Kebab, my husband the Kofte. For the price, we both recieved a great deal of food! I was starving, I hadn't had a chance to eat all day. By the end of the meal, I was so full I could not conceivably eat another bite. I did, however, make room for their utterly gorgeous baklava pistachio that they have flown in fresh from Turkey. Speechless. Likely the best baklava I have ever had. Ever. The main (kebab) was perfectly cooked, and was fragrantly spiced just as I would expect Turkish food from ISTANBUL to taste. My husband did find the kofte to be somewhat laking in spice, but I think that is the nature of the kofte, and so we still enjoyed it. The salads and rice served with each meal compliment the meat perfectly. The staff is also very prompt and polite, and most helpful. The atmosphere is mellow, even when it is busy. The seats are deliciously comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant! Posted on January 24, 2012 |

★★★★★ This is one of my favorite restaurants. The ambient is very nice, the food is very delicious, the service is friendly and the price is reasonable for New York City. I recommend it to take the family or to invite colleagues or business acquaintances. It is an impressive place with good service. Posted on May 18, 2011 |

★★★★★ This place was fantastic!! The food my husband and I ordered were amazing and cooked to perfection. The desserts are great and one of a kind. We had the apple hot tea, hashasli, and pudding were off the hook and to die for. Posted on June 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ Food is delicious. Haven't had Turkish food like this. Service is friendly and quick. The baby lamb kebab is a must-try; the wraps are amazing but not for big-eaters. I cannot say enough about the desserts, but the profiterole and rice pudding cannot be beaten. I am not an eggplant person, but their eggplant and tomato salad is heavenly, and they serve it with ample slices of pita bread. Overall, it's like a little Istanbul in the middle of Manhattan, can't get closer to Turkey than this around here. Posted on February 28, 2010 |

★★★★★ Salam .. went there for their price fixe iftar during ramadaan and it was well worth it! We got to choose a soup, appetizer, main dish, dessert, and tea! The lentil soup was excellent; eggplant with sauce was to die for; shepard salad was very flavorful and fresh; the chicken kabab was AMAZING - I have never had juicier and more flavorful chicken anywhere!!; and the turkish chocolate pudding was so rich and delicious. I loved this place and will definetely return!! Posted on September 12, 2009 |

★★★★★ Food is fantastic! Delicious. Service was top notch. Dessert is flown in fresh from Turkey. Outdoor patio seating in the rear. Indoor regular seating in addition to different unique options - such as Arab-style floor seating, cushion seating, etc. Will DEFINITELY return. Posted on May 13, 2009 |
