★★★★☆ Only chicken is halal no other meat. Food is good though. The veggie options are awesome. Posted on September 23, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Food is really delicious but I doubt that the meat served is halal. As per comments from other friends, you need to ask if the chicken is halal or not but every time I have asked, I have always got a YES answer. However, I doubt that it is halal. I would however go there again as I love the veggie options and the Indian/Pakistani style tea :) Posted on January 19, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ It can be annoying to have to ask if the meat being served for the day is halal, but overall the food is not bad. Posted on November 18, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I have enjoyed the vegetarian food here, but the meat selection is not as good. Posted on July 2, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ This is the worst resturant in the world people, the service here is only good if you are an american or white. Otherwise they will not even come to take your order for half an hour, and even when they do take your order they will literally bring it and throw it on the table infront of you so they can hurry up and takecare of their american customers, the food is gross everything is the same it dont matter if u order chicken masala, chiken jalferezi, chicken karhai, chicken tikka masala or lamb karhai, everything is made in the same sweet creamy orange gravy and it all tastes the same. They r way too pricey for the service and food they offer. I went there with a big party and all of us were equally disappointed. Totally a regretable bad descion if you go there, i will never. Plus the food is not halal they only verbally say it but cant even name the company if you ask about it or ask them to show you the label of zabiha halal to prove it they will give you a very dumb excuse. Take it off this website please. Posted on July 15, 2010 |

★★★★☆ nice indian food. mostly non-halal menu. there is a lot of veggie stuff and they do not mix the dishes for veg and non-veg because of hindu beliefs, so veggie is very safe. Owner is well known to me and according to him chicken is sometimes halal depending on their supply. So, if you want to eat chicken first ask them and they will tell u the truth. Rest of it is not halaal. Posted on June 9, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ Taste of India defenitely does not serve halaal chicken or beef--- I know this from people that worked there. Also we can not be sure that it is halaal because the owners are not Muslim. They just say that it is to get business from Muslims. But the only thing in this place that you can be assured of is that the meal is not halaal. The food is not that great anyway. ★☆☆☆☆ i highly doubt this is halal. verbal assurance from staff (who're not muslim) shouldn't be sufficient. Halal meat is more expensive, so why would a non-muslim go out of his way to get it and not publicly advertise it? Please try to keep this site updated and authentic. Posted on June 11, 2004 |

★★★★☆ This restaurant only has Halal chicken on most days, and halal beef/lamb sometimes. Its best to check with the staff before you order anything. Posted on May 5, 2004 |
