NR Salaams, ok food is good, really like the sheftalia. With regards to atmosphere not keen on the non existent certification of halal. Real shame about the alcohol as well.
Noticed that the other Kervan on Bury Street in Edmonton is not on the list, i think that place has poor customer service. The staff are rude and asked me to tip him much to my shock.
But this Kervan on Church Street is better customer service wise. Posted on October 24, 2013 |

★★★★★ This restaurant is superb. Really mixed crowd but still has a family atmosphere. There are halal certificates on display. Well priced and great portion sizes. Would recommend to others. Posted on December 9, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Saw menu had special for £20 however I saw no halal sign anywhere displayed so I asked the waiter to see the halal certificate and was told they do not have one as the "owners are muslim". Posted on August 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ went there last saturday. got there at 8pm and was madly busy lol. the small car park in the rear was full, luckily i managed to find 1 space right in front of restaurant. even though busy, just waited few mins to get a table for 2. food was excellent. very generous portions, i ordered chefs special and it looked like 4 people could eat from it! i ended up doing take-away as couldnt finish it. would love to come back here, better than maida grill in whitechapel, and best turkish restaurant i have been to in london. only negatives are they play music and serve alcohol. ★★★★★ Love this place, always jam packed with Turkish people, u know a place is good if its full of their own people, huge platters, meat, meat and more meat, great for carnivores like my family, had many a birthday and eid gathering here, yummm Posted on November 22, 2010 |

★★★★★ Had to ask if it was halal, as could not see it written anywhere. Received assurance from staff who were Muslim that it is halal. Probably one of the nicest and busiest Turkish restaurants in Town. Interior is nicely done up inside, even have a small children's playroom, thus so many familys were here. Give complementary starters for free and food is at very reasonable prices. It is hard to get to if you don't have a car. Posted on November 16, 2009 |

★★★★★ Visited here on 31 March 2009. Nice atmosphere and very busy for a weekday. Ordered Borek and Kalamari for starter, and the Kervan Special for main (a mixed starter for 2+ people). The portions were very big, and it was all very fresh and tasty. They also supplied a huge salad, yoghurts and fresh bread. Service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended. Posted on April 3, 2009 |
