★★☆☆☆ the food quality has really gone bad. I don’t eat from this place unless I have no other choice and in that case I order chicken seekh kebabs or kebab rolls only. Posted on July 8, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ This is a sit-down/take-out Pakistani restaurant serving kababs, tikka, kat-a-kat, paratha/naan, nihari, qorma, biryani, and more. The food is completely halal. Street parking is available, but you probably want to leave your 1964 Lincoln Continental at home.
The gola kabab ($10) was wonderfully tender but had an unusual dominant off-flavor, probably due to overuse of a particular unidentified spice--unfortunately, this dish cannot be recommended. The paratha ($3.50) was large and crispy but also had an off-flavor, definitely below-average and not recommended. The buttered naan ($1) was freshly-made, tender, and delicious, definitely recommended. The chicken seekh kabab ($1.50) was generously-sized and perfectly-spiced and is highly recommended. The nihari was well-made, though perfectly average and is recommended with reservation.
Overall, an acceptable restaurant if you order the right thing. Don't forget the Pakola. Posted on January 28, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ I agree with others, food is average and service is completely unacceptable, I only get naan from here, and even that takes anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hour. Posted on November 24, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Food is good but the service is really horrible. I will only take-out from now on. Posted on July 13, 2013 |

NR THIS RESTAURANT HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN ANY FOOD PLACE (Zabihah or not). I eat Halal all the time however even though the meat may be Halal, despicable customer service is definitely not something that is endorsed in Islam.
I ordered food one hour in advance on the phone only to wait another hour in the store to be told my food was still not ready. All the while it had been sitting completely prepared in the kitchen the whole time I waited in the store. Finally after I was on the verge of losing my patience they brought out my food 2 hours later without apology, without any compensation, without any re-imbursement.
This story gets better or worse depending on how you look at it... Upon opening the food on my drive out the store, the gola kabab, and behari kabab had a smell as if the food had went bad! My family ate a little of the food attributing the smell to the fat in the meat... Everyone ended up with upset stomachs and spent the night in and out of the bathroom.
Spoke to the OWNER the next day and he was somewhat apologetic, but would not even let me get a word in on the phone and kept cutting me off and made NO offer to refund or compensate.
But now to think about I wouldn't even eat that food for free if he even offered on the house. By the grace of God, I am not starving and I am not in any need to go back to this place!
I understand bad experiences happen everywhere, but what made me write such a bad review is that this service was so bad and the owners way of handling the situation was so abhorrent that even fast food restaurants would put this place to shame..
I hope none of you have such a bad experience such as my own and think twice before giving this place your hard-earned money, as they clearly do not respect your service as a customer! Posted on May 20, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ HORRIBLE SERVICE. I called in an order over an hour before I went to pick it up (they told me 40 minutes over the phone), was kept waiting in the store, and when I inquired they said "5 minutes" over and over. Staff is rude, incompetent. It is close by so I have gone a few times, food is average at best, always forget to give something (salad, chutney), and credit card machine conveniently is broken. I try to support Muslim owned restaurants/businesses, but after today's experience will not return. Posted on May 19, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Kababs are always dipped in salt before getting grilled. The taste never changes.... Posted on April 8, 2013 |

★★★★★ This is an amazing place to eat, we visited this place and feel back home (UK, Lahore). Please try reshmi chicken kebabs and maghaz nehari. Being food lover I suggest to visit this place. Posted on September 14, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Positive: Great combination of lacha paratha (bread) and fresh naan with gola kababs, bihari kababs, and boneless chicken tikka.
Negative: Inconsistent food taste, especially the gola kababs, like many other Pakistani restaurants.
Overall: The best BBQ Pakistani food in the NJ/NY area.
Revisit: Yes, I have visited there often and will continue to do so; their food tastes better than other places even on a bad day. Posted on July 28, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good. Nihari, Haleem and Kabab items are all decent. There are some items that are way overpriced. $30 for a goat karahi!!!, $20 for chicken karahi and kat-a-kat!!!!. I usually travel far for good Desi food but these guys here believe they are from another planet. Food is usually v spicy and their service is zero. They pride themselves as being the famous ones from Karachi but haven't gone beyond serving in styrofoam and plastic. Posted on June 15, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I know brothers who come from Jersey just to have Bundu Khan. That inspired me to go. I wouldn't travel 2 blocks for their food. Ordered a mixed kabab and half of it was raw an tasted stale. Posted on June 2, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Ordered chargha, behari kabab, to go. When I got home then find chargha was all burned and kabab was so spicy that I couldn't eat. All went in garbage.I will Never go there again. Posted on August 18, 2011 |

★★★★★ Went there recently with the family as I heard about this place. Its a famous restaraunt from Karachi and I must say the food is delicious. Finally we have a good pakistani restaraunt to serve fresh food made to order. Nice neighborhood and clean environment. Gola kababs are the best definitely a must have! Great kababs etc. Will keep going again. Posted on May 8, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Quality desi food. Probably the best in the western long island Queens border area. Supposedly named after some famous restaurant chain back home; don't know if they're authentic. Nonetheless, you won't be sorry ordering from here. A few bench-tables provide eating space, but you'll probably just want to do takeout. Posted on April 19, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Went to this place when it just opened, so it was new and clean then. Not too many items on the menu, but the owner says he wants to make things fresh daily. Paratha rolls were good, a bit on the small side. Fresh, good food for the price. Some items a but too spicy, like thier Gola kabab...so make sure you mention how spicy you want it.
