★★★★☆ Has improved over the years.
Food is better than other Nandos but go in when not too busy. A few of the staff did seem genuine but in most Nandos they're all fake. Hate it when they come up to your table to ask how the food is but they're really after that stick with the chicken on top with table number lol Food good love the mash Posted on February 5, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I think Nando's is a franchise SO NOT ALL ARE HALAL!! The one in in the Trafford Centre in Manchester is Halal, and it's appears to be a better run site. The kids love it! Adults find it OK. Lots of Muslim families at this one - probably pre or post-film as the Cinema shows Indian movies. Posted on December 20, 2004 |

★★★★☆ nandos is halal as far as it is known, many 'muslim' restaurants themselves claim to be so [for the sake of business] and are in fact not. We can only trust the certificates...the rest is between them and God. Posted on September 10, 2004 |

★★★★★ I am confused by the brother saying that Nandos is not halal. They are HFA (Halal Food Authority) Approved which shows that they meet the standards and so are halal. The HFA sticker is up in the restaurants and I know that HFA are VERY strict in authorising halal meat. Posted on February 28, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ Please brothers and sisters in Islam, It will be very, very wrong to say that Nandos (UK) restaurants are certified halal when Nandos main suppliers of chickens are Freemans. I went to Halal conference at ICC (Islamic Cultural Centre & London Mosque) which is known as to everyone as Regent Park Mosque in London. I found out that Freemans the main suppliers of Nandos are unreliable and not halal at all. Please check with Dr Teinaz of ICC, the Health Advisor and the Halal committee of ICC. Please write to and check with Dr Yunes Teinaz PhD, the Health Advisor of ICC. The Islamic Cultural Centre, London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, Regent Park, London NW8 7RG, England, United Kingdom. Also please check ICC website which is WWW.ICCSERVICES.ORG.UK Please also check with the Muslim Council of Britain Health and Halal committee. The brother in islam you need to speak to is Dr A. Majid Katme MBBCh, DPM, his mobile number is 07944 240 622 and also please check with several Halal Food authorities such as these: The Muslim Food Board (UK) http://www.halaal.org:/, UK Halal Corporation Limited http://www.halalcorporation.org/ These organisations will kindly advises you, your friends and your families. ★☆☆☆☆ I recently visited Nando's in Dalston with my family. I live in Middlesex so the journey was quite long, but I thought it would be worth it because everything is halal. Unfortunately that was not the case! The salad was brown, the plates dirty, glasses chipped and the chicken fillets provided for the children were too hard to cut through.I complained to the man who served me and was told the lettuce was brought in everyday even though it was plainly disoloured. I finally asked to speak to the manageress, who also behaved in a very unhelpful manner, when I told her the salt and pepper pots where crusty with dirt she replied that they only had to be cleaned once a week according to Nando's policy! Finally when we left, the staff sat near the entrance and called out goodbye in a sarcastic way! I regret not leaving as soon as I saw the standard of the food and should have asked for a refund.I will definitely not visit Nando's again and I suggest that anyone deciding to should be wary.
