★★★★★ Wow I came to try out this Resturant! We ordered kubideh chicken, lamb, and beef trio and I have never tasted any better kubideh totally loved them all! Posted on May 17, 2015 |

★★★★★ If I were to have a special guest with me and wanted them to have an enjoyable meal, I would take them to Shamshiri. I have been going to the place on and off for over ten years. Granted the lamb is only halal, their halal lamb kabob is a legend.
The service is hit or miss. You can get a pissed off waiter some times. But the ambiance is good.
Its expensive but I think its worth it. Food quality is amazing. Posted on September 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ I've been to this place many times and I had such a good time. The servers were so nice, fast and helpful. At the end I got a great service. Everything is Halal except 2 of the dishes. Also they have a large variety of Vegan dishes for all those vegetarians. I highly recommend this to everyone. Posted on July 29, 2012 |

★★★★★ Every time I am in Los Angeles Shamshiri Grill is the One and ONLY Persian Restaurant I go to and would Recommend! The food Is AMAZING!! the portions and generous and the service in top notch! Everything is Halal except for 2 of the beef dishes (Beef Barg and Shish Kabob) But there are hundreds of other delicious options on the menu. ( the Koobideh, Lamb and Chicken dishes are to die for ) The atmosphere is a modern take on ancient Iranian hospitality. The service is good and most of the waitstaff are bi-lengual. All in Shamshiri Grill is a must for anyone visiting the Los Angeles are this summer! Posted on July 29, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ After I finished eating, I understood that only the lamb is halal and the other meat are kosher. I am so sad for this, please remove this place from zabihah. I will never ever go here or any other places in zabihah which are mentioned partial halal. What does that mean really????!!! It should be halal or haram, partial halal really doesnt make sense. Posted on October 10, 2011 |
Partial halal means that some dishes are halal and others are not. We label it this way so that people such as yourself who do not feel comfortable eating there can avoid it. Most Muslims are not bothered by the presence of non-Halal items so long as they are separated from the Halal ones. |

★★★★☆ Haven't been there in years but yes, I believe only the lamb is halal. I liked the food all the times I been there in the past. Good hangout if you roll with Iranians. Posted on March 20, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ This place ONLY has Zabihah LAMB. No other meat is Zabihah. They also serve alcohol. Aside from that it is decent place, good food and nice service. Very spacious and clean as well. Posted on June 6, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ This place has always only had halal lamb. the reason for this is that lamb is a popular food in many muslim countries and it is sold in bulk from various ranches in new zealand and brazil. for this same reason the lamb at outback steak house is even halal. american cattle farmers see no profit in producing lamb so almost everywhere u go lamb is halal. the lamb kabob is good, but in my opinion i would just pay a little more and go to a halal place that has beef kabob. NR I ate there many years ago and they told me that their ground beef is mixed with halal meat! That didn't make any sense. I ate some fish dish and never went back again. Posted on December 20, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ I have been here a few times with friends and I always end up leaving. Reasons: If you do not look persian, they treat you with very little respect, the service is very poor, only the lamb is "halal", supposedly, why would they only make lamb halal not anything else? Sounds kind of wierd to me. Also they do serve alcohol here. In my opinion this place should not even be on Zabihah.com because when I, or others I recommend this site to come here we expect Zabihah food and a Halal atmosphere, not "lamb" only and alcohol serving locations. ★★★★★ The servers are kind of rude if your not Persian. Only the lamb is halaal. The Lamb Shank with gourmet sabzi is VERY VERY good. And so is their zeresh polo. Posted on May 11, 2004 |
