★☆☆☆☆ I have tried this place two times due to good reviews online. I was thoroughly disappointed both times. Mixed gyro platter was terrible. It should not be called gyro when you grill bland unseasoned chicken. Chicken tikka platter was a disaster. It looked like days old and falafels were terrible too. Never going back again. Take your money elsewhere. Posted on October 9, 2017
★★★★★ My family and I were in the area and looking for a place to eat before we headed to the movies. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Man, what a pleasant surprise! First off, plenty of street parking nearby. We entered and sat ourselves in the dining room, which was located to the right side of the restaurant. There are a couple small tables on the left side, but right side was much more spacious.
Gotta start off by talking about the service, cause that's what makes or breaks a restaurant. Our server was kind, caring, knowledgeable of the menu and just overall provided a wonderful dining experience.
The food: for an appetizer we got some hummus and wings for the table, and I also had a slice of pizza (yes I had pizza as an app). The hummus actually blew me away-it was so fresh and flavorful. Probably the best hummus I've ever had. The wings were pretty good and the pizza can compete with any other pizza in the NJ/ NY area. For my entree I got the cheesesteak, which was yummy. I'm a cheese person and they didn't skimp me out. The meat tasted very fresh and it came with a side of fries, which were crispy and delicious. I also tried their chicken burger, which was just out of this world. I'll probably be back just for that. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy everything they ordered, and there weren't any complains. Had some baklava for dessert, which was a nice ending to our meal. It was super fresh and flavorful. Overall: food was great.
Prices: more than fair. I actually think they're underpriced, considering the area they are in. Posted on May 28, 2017
