★☆☆☆☆ Definitely not Halaal. They have Halaal signs because they "supposedly" dont serve pork. They have no concept of Halaal and no self respecting Muslim should support such establishments. Posted on March 9, 2019 |

★☆☆☆☆ I just went to this place. It is not zabihah halal. There are two clear halal signs but this looks like a Boars Head sponsored place. Boars Head adverts and signs abound throughout the deli. The glass case is filled with Boars Heads products. I gather it is "halal" because they don't serve pork products and the bacon/ham is made from beef/turkey. It is still Boars Head products and as far as I am aware, Boars Head does not sell zabihah halal meat. Needless to say, I didn't purchase anything and went somewhere else. Posted on April 25, 2018 |

NR There's nothing halal about this place. They serve ham and bacon and sausage. Posted on March 29, 2016 |
Our understanding is that those products are halal beef or turkey substitutes. We will check. |

★☆☆☆☆ WARNING!! This place does NOT SERVE HALAL FOOD!!!!!!
They might be muslims but the meats they serve are not halal. They are regular market meats. Posted on August 31, 2014 |
We will investigate - we have multiple assurances about their halal status |

NR We walked in and saw the halal sign but they have bacon and ham on the menu. They have halal paper in front of the deli window but we were not comfortable with it being a partial halal menu so we left without eating. Posted on June 9, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ good chicken cutlet sub. 99 cent pizza is cool. Extra points for selling glass bottled Coke; no Coke Zero though :-( Posted on April 29, 2012 |

★★★★☆ A variety of cheap lunch options at this grab 'n go 24hr NYC deli. Great chicken sandwiches and a hot buffet that offers different items everyday. Beware, not everything is halal. Check out our full review here Posted on June 18, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ This is a take out place along with a small grocery store and bakery items. Halal sign is visible. I had chicken parmesan panini under the impression that I will have a fresh one made for me but they only warmed it and gave it to me. I think I made a wrong choice cos I did not like it a lot, average though...there were many other things on the menu and all looked good. Posted on June 14, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Pretty cool deli open 24 hours. Not everything is halal. The staff appeared to be helpful in pointing out which items are halal and which items are not. Good late night option around Broadway area. Posted on December 24, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Be careful while ordering as not everything in halal. The meat in the freezer is not halal nor are the cold cuts on the display in front of the chefs. I spoke to a manager and they said anything made fresh is halal while everything processed is not. He asked me what I ordered (Chicken Sandwitch) and verified that it was halal. I can appreciate management going out of their way to check but be cautious about what you order. Posted on July 21, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Food is decent, but be careful what you order; not everything is Zabihah. The pepperoni piza is pork-free, though they may tell you it is halal but not zabihah. The chicken is zabihah halal though. Posted on September 11, 2009 |
