★★★★☆ Call and ask them first what is halal that day; when we called, they said everything but the burgers and the bone-in wings were available halal. When you place your order, make sure you let them know that you want it halal. We ordered a cheesesteak with onions, a slice of buffalo chicken pizza, and boneless wings with "suicide" hot sauce. The cheesesteak was the star of the meal, with deliciously tender steak and a roll that was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The pizza was okay, but it could have used more cheese and bits of chicken. My husband didn't enjoy the boneless wings (he prefers bone-in wings), but as chicken tenders go I thought they were fine. If you're a college student in the area that keeps zabihah, you'll probably be here often. Posted on May 26, 2019 |

★★★★☆ I visited here twice during my recent visit, and yes it is pretty small and does seem to be more of a college hangout, but I really liked it. The menu was very specific in mentioning what is halal and what isn't. They are very helpful, and the service is great.
I had a steak calzone on my first night, along with hot boneless chicken wings. All quite good, the calzone was huge. I later had philly cheese steak and spicy curly fries. Again, nothing was mind blowing, but it was all quite good. I will return. Posted on October 14, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ We go here very very occasionally when we are the in mood for buffalo wings. I prefer boneless and my husband likes regular. The regular are pretty good, but sometimes the boneless are very dry and hard. I usually ask for extra sauce because sometimes they don’t put enough sauce on them, and everyone knows wings are supposed to be saucy! The general Tso pizza is good. To be honest, it seems to be a college kid hang out, so not my scene, but maybe if I was a student again I’d enjoy it more. Posted on August 19, 2018 |

★★☆☆☆ Positive: Clean location in University City with large screen TVs to watch sports.
Negative: Below average quality and taste.
Overall: Good place to visit for halal food if you are a college student in the area. Otherwise look elsewhere.

★★★★☆ Went here with a few folks. The lamb and chicken gyro mix was really good and had lots of flavor. I also have had their Rana's chicken cheese steak which was ok ( fyi, the meat itself was not prepared like a steak). Owner was really friendly. I will probably try their pizza next time. ★★★★★ A life saver for those living downtown who observe Halal / Zabihah lifestyle. I very frequently order online (TIP: go to http://www.edswings.com the choose "Order Online" then the last tab in the column on the left "Rana Halal"). Excellent ordering system online where you can really customize your Philly Cheesestakes with all sorts of extras. The Buffalo chicken pizza is to die for!! I also like the boneless buffalo wings. The delivery time is about 45 minutes which is not bad for downtown philly. Price is very reasonable for the downtown area.
We are having some friends over tonight and plan to order some cheesesteaks and the buffalo chicken pizza. Great work guys!! Posted on January 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ Wow. This place has terrific middle eastern food. The kufta is wonderful as is the laham mishwe. The portion sizes are huge and the delivery service is fast. I love the fact that they're open late and deliver! Posted on May 14, 2007 |
