★★★☆☆ Overpriced and overrated. If you want good quality food at reasonable prices go North London where there's loads of restaurants to choose from. Competition makes the restaurants try harder to please customers and this restaurant has no competition Posted on June 5, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Great ambience. Food is well presented, but the dish I tried wasn't upto my expectations. Price is appropriate for the setting. Worth a visit Posted on January 23, 2014 |

★★★★★ I've been wanting to visit this place for a while because of all the great reviews. Im glad to say that the place did meet my expectation. The service was friendly, even though Im sure my group was driving them crazy because of the large size. The chicken kebab from the mix platter was fabulous. The desserts were also great: banofee pie was the best. Drinks were amazing and the best part of the meal! Posted on September 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ I went with my wife. tried something different, lamby curry and chicken kebab. lovely food. with a tiramisu for desert :) I will keep coming here until I have tried everything on the menu :) whoever said this place serves bland food & only worth stopping for a kebab role, doesnt have a clue and should stop being so stingy! ★★★★★ This restaurant is by far our favorite Turkish restaurant in London. The food is of exceptional quality and the portions sizes are respectable. If you’re going to visit, you should definitely try the grilled items. The mix shawarma and the pirzola (lamb chops) are great! The restaurant is clean with ample sitting, and the staff is courteous. Enjoy the traditional Turkish delight at the end of the meal. We’ve been to Turkey and Maedah Grill brings the best of Turkey to London. Posted on February 15, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Maedah Grill offers customers a very pleasant dining experience. Price wise this is slightly more expensive than its Tower Hamlet neighbours but in return you do have clean and very presentable facilities, good service, food cooked on the open grill and great tasting food.
One to enjoy with the family. Posted on April 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ I'm a regular at Maedah Grill. I don't like all of the food, only certain dishes - but this has more to do with my individual taste rather than the quality of the dish itself. It's a bit pricey but you're getting a very pleasant dining experience in return. The service is excellent, waiters are polite and friendly, food is consistently good, decor/ atmosphere is lovely, no complaints! It is definitely the best restaurant in the Tower Hamlets area. ★★★★☆ The restaurant is close to us and is welcome change to all the Indian around. Parking can be tricky especially around prayer times as it's right next to East London Mosque. Inside the décor is very good with an Open grill restaurant so you can see your food being prepared, nice touch.
The service is very good haven't had to wait much for the food. They have private rooms which you can book.
The Turkish food is good albeit a little bland compared to Indian. We usually go for the Lamacin or Prawn Cocktail Starters with Iskender and Steak Chips or Pide for Main and a Kinder Milshake. We absolutely love the Tiramisu desert and is one of the main reasons we keep going back. Posted on May 4, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Good looking restaurant just behind the huge East London Mosque, perfect for post-prayer dining.
Serving what seems like turkish/shawarma based meals. The portions are large but rather flavorless and bland.
Ideal for quick shawarma kebab roll after prayer, and family dining. Posted on January 2, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ service ok, didnt think much of the food, everything was very bland, not good value for money. Posted on November 22, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Good food, good service, not too expensive.
It is pricer than other restaurants in the area, but as far as I am aware, this is the only Turkish style place in the vicinity.
It is so good to see a place that is kept really hygenic like this: go check the toilets, they are very very clean. This speaks volumes for the rest of the restaurant.
Recommended. Posted on October 11, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I was not impressed by the service , i went there on a Saturday afternoon only 6 tables had customers and it took them 30 minutes before they took our order and that only happened after i complained to the manager and the food was just about average, not value for money Posted on July 26, 2009 |

★★★★★ Fantastic food and fantastic decor. Opposite the masjid and HMC certified. You cant go wrong. A1+++ Try the cocktails (Daiquiri or Mojito). They are amazing. Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ Nice place just behind Whitechapel mosque. Serves a variety of dishes, including a decent sized steak, tasty if a little dry. The food is pretty tasty, portions are good and its generally pretty busy. I've however had problems with the service, its slow, they get orders wrong, etc. Hopefully they'll work on getting that right. Edit: Went 20/03 - very disappointing. Service was better but the food was no where as good. Lacked any real taste. Posted on March 22, 2009 |

★★★★★ Best place for Turkish food. Good selection of hot and cold Mezzes. Chicken steak is very nice and also recommend the Pide. Service is good considering they are usually very busy. Nice family environment and decor. Posted on December 15, 2008 |

★★★★★ Went to this about a month ago. Food is very tasty, portions are generally very large, so don't be put of by some of the prices! Ordered a starter that was big enough to fill me up! There is also a family area, which is quite cool but you have to be 10% on top for that! Still, it's worth it. They tend to be very busy, so sometimes orders can take a bit of time! Patience required! :) Posted on September 2, 2008 |
