Standard Balti House first opened its doors in December 1989 in the centre of Brick Lane. The restaurant is contemporary and spacious, seating over 180, with a 60 seat private function room. Situated in the heart Banglatown with its long established Bangladeshi community, there is no better setting to bring out the special character of this warm, vibrant restaurant. The restaurants staff can guarantee provincial Bangladeshi and Indian food at its finest. Our Head Chef has over 30 years of experience, cooking for exceptional establishments all over Bangladesh and some parts of India, he is accompanied by our second chef with 17 years of knowledge and practice of traditional Bangladeshi and Indian cooking.
