★★★★★ My family & I were visiting from Florida & found this restaurant on our Android phone at 9:20PM with a closing time of 10PM. We rushed over to the restaurant & they were very accomodating. We placed our order & within 10 minutes were served with everything from our salads, apetizers, & our entrees. The food was delicious & the variety is amazing. The establishment has numerous religious ornaments & pictures for Dhikr & is completely hala with NO alcohol on premises. Ma'ashAllah, I was very impressed. May Allah (swt) continue to bless their business & help them expand so that in-sha-Allah, they can open a location near me. Posted on June 25, 2013 |

★★★★★ I have been coming here since 2013 and the food gets better. I drive tractor trailers and I always get an array of delicacies to use during the course of my time over the road. Keep it up, they are one of the best. Posted on June 12, 2020 |

NR have been here several times aver past few months.
they have good variety of menu items including burgers, wings, afghani food including chicken with rice, salads, gyro sandwiches (on a folded pita or naan.
food is excellent , service and prices are average. It is located few miles from rutgers in a plaza with free parking Posted on March 11, 2017 |

★★★★★ UPDATE Feb 2016: The food is still good here. The chapli kabab is one of the best. I was a little disappointed in the burger the last time i got it, but you can't go wrong with the afghani food here. The Philly is tpretty good also but the Lamb and Chicken over rice is mediocre at best.
Nov 2015: I had a very good experience here overall. The food tasted good just like the original location, maybe a little less, or is that all in my head? The chicken wings were crispy and huge. The tacos were good. Fries excellent. The beef quesadilla was not as filling as the original location. The ice cream was OK but expensive. The owner messed up my order and I didn't end up getting my Burger. I would definitely visit again Posted on April 1, 2016 |

★★★★★ Kabab Paradise is amazing!!! Their food is always good, I have been a regular customer for 2 years for all branches and it was amazing! The chicken nuggets are literally heaven especially with their white sauce. The service was amazing and the servers were extremely polite and helpful. This is a must-go destination 😀 Posted on December 25, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am going to this place since it is open. They used to have good food but I had consistently bad experience in last 3-4 visits. Their burgers used to be very good but now they are full of fat and chewy meat. The chicken gyro platter hardly has chicken, the price went up $9 plus. The lamb gyro or lamb tacos have processed frozen meat, doesn't taste lamb at all. Overall, prices went up and the food quality went way down. Posted on November 8, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ I hate to say this but I have given these guys not once but multiple tries and the review below is consistent.
The owner seem to be 2 brothers. The elder brother who wears glasses is a nice guy, talks nicely, is not cheap and treats his customer better.
The younger brother, needs to improve his attitude and how he treats his customers. He is very cheap too.
I dont know what he has with the white sauce. The food they giving is decent to okay. I am pretty sure the food is pre made and is served just heated up. Like you cant serve Chapli kebab in 5 mins. The food is pricey. But if you are doing take away and ask for white sauce, it is as if you have asked him for his life.
They would give u 2-4 smallest pouches and God help you if you ask for more. Before they atleast used to fill them up. Now, the last time I got a take away, they were half filled. All of them :-0
To be really honest, they should know better that their food only tastes better with the white sauce. So they should encourage to give more even if they include it in the price so people actually like their food.
When you heat the food up it feels like it was made few days ago.
Anyways, they are okay, decent, attitude wise a big NO. Seating is nice and ample Posted on October 15, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Very average food and like other people said, rude owner, looks pissed all the time. Burgers were bland, wings were huge but not tasty, gyro was ok. Posted on September 28, 2015 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ The staff is extremely rude. The only reason why they get any business is because they share the same name as Kabab Paradise in Lake Hiawatha (their service is superb).
Even if the quality of their food is good, customer service is key when you are trying to enjoy a good eating experience with family and friends. Going to go out of my way to travel to Kabab Paradise in LH as oppose to this location which is a lot closer to us all because of their awful customer service. Posted on July 25, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ I often go to this place and noticed they are over charging . I have asked the owner and he had no reason except saying they have increased the price, which is not true. they padding up vouchers. I don't trust them. Now talking about the food quality, it's not of great but edible and flavored. The service is just acceptable. But Muslim brothers be careful about their pricing. Posted on December 2, 2014 |

NR Hit or miss in terms of service. The owner is very nice and friendly but the staff forgets to bring you the salad, bread etc. that goes with your order. The food quality however, is ON the mark. We got a mixed gyro platter (good) and a grilled chicken combo (not bad) as well as the staple chicken nuggets for the kids (7 pieces, not 9 as stated on the menu). The meat is well cooked and everything is spiced nicely. We went an hour before closing and there was a big party waiting already so that could have contribute to the frenzied "forgetfulness." So good food but kinda self-service with constant reminders =) Posted on September 2, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ I had a bad experience with "South Bound Brook" store - We ordered 6 orders FOUR on the table and TWO to go. TWO from the orders on the table were gyro mix platter ($8.99) and one of them was ordered spicy and the other not. The waitress was asked before she delivers the plates specifically about which one is spicy, yet she delivered the wrong plates and after eating for a couple of minutes your clients discovered that they have the wrong plates. I complained to her, she left us for 15 minutes and then she pointed to the owner without even speaking to us. The owner did not come to our table to solve our problem. He just ignore us. I went to him and complained about the issue. He was aware of the problem and he said that it is the waitress mistake and he has no solution for the problem and he suggest to switch the plates after each one started to eat from them for couple of minutes. From a hygiene point of view, you do not east from the saliva of another person. From a customer service point of view. Customer is right and he should be granted his wish of TWO new plates and this time right. I told him that I want to leave and will take only the FOUR orders and return the TWO wrong plates. The waitress returned the TWO wrong plates and the owner charged me for the SIX orders including the TWO returned wrong plates. I did not know that except after signing the credit card slip. I complained to him but he told me that he will not return my money to me. THIS IS THE LAST TIME TO EAT AT THAT BRANCH AND EVERYONE I MEET IN OUR COMMUNITY WILL TELL THEM ABOUT THAT OWNER THAT TOOK OUR MONEY WITHOUT OUR CONSENT EVEN HE ADMITS IT WAS THE WAITRESS MISTAKE!!!! ★★★☆☆ Not as good as it used to be! Posted on January 10, 2014 |

★★★★☆ You cant get better value for money anywhere else. You obviously wont get the flavor of restaurants like silk road, since you are paying 4 times more over there, but you definitely get much better than what you pay for. I dont like the wings. Every other item, yummm Posted on January 3, 2014 |

★★★★★ Excellent burgers and wings. Posted on December 8, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ This is very average food. Nothing to brag about. Their burgers and sandwiches are decent and nothing really to say about the Kabobs other that they are average, Posted on November 13, 2013 |

★★★★★ Kabab paradise is so good the burgers are full of flavor and they have a good menu and variety sometimes the order gets mixed up but otherwise definitely check it out Posted on August 8, 2013 |

★★★★★ Love this place. Just as good as the original. Their wings are huge. My favorite is the gyro platter. Posted on September 27, 2012 |

★★★★★ Very nice place.
You get quality/ quantity at the best price.
Good fast food place. Friendly staff. Posted on September 4, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Positive: The menu offers a wide selection of foods. The Burgers are probably the best Central NJ has to offer in this category. Buffalo wings are not bad either.
Negative: Not as good as the Afghani restaurants in New York, and the only reason their burgers are the best in the area is because no other halal restaurant has variety.
Overall: Finally a restaurant in Central NJ with a wide selection of burgers.
Revisit: Only for the gyro platter and when craving burgers and can’t find any other place. Posted on July 28, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Not the best food Posted on July 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ Awesome place. Reasonable price. Burgers and solar wings stand out! Their afghani rice is also good. Posted on April 18, 2012 |

★★★★★ Love their food! Excellent taste great portions Posted on April 1, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Excellent place for burgers! I love the basic Paradise burger. Their naans are amazing too, you get them with some platters.
The managers are nice and friendly people and their service is pretty quick too.
However, it's not the best place for dine-in with the family..kind of small and not too much privacy, but if you don't mind that drop-in for an excellent meal. Our family loves the place! Posted on November 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ Really like the food here, its our family's all time fav, esp the mixed gyros platter, mixed hurl sandwich and chappli kebab. Their korma is not so good. However, place is small and more for students. We mostly do takeouts. Posted on September 25, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I ate here 4 hours ago and I have been to the bathroom already 3 times. The food is nothing special and they over charged me. If I didnt look at my bill close enough I wouldn't have realized. Eat with caution! Posted on July 24, 2011 |

★★★★★ Very good food. We tried a little bit of a lot of different dishes. Wouldn't recommend dining in with family because of the small space and the crowd that hangs outside in the parking lot of this strip mall.
The staff is very friendly. We had a slight issue the very first time we went here when we ended up being overcharged. The next time we went there was a couple of months later and the guy behind the counter recognized my sister and informed us that they had issued a refund for the difference the same night. We hadn't seen our credit card bill closely enough and sure enough the money was refunded.
Always great to promote a place with honest management serving great food.

★☆☆☆☆ I was very excited to come here but it was super expensive and very small portions. Posted on May 24, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Afghan food = always a win. I'm punjabi but I must admit, not as much oil, not as much spice, and much, much more flavor. I always try and find afghan food where ever I go! Posted on April 25, 2011 |

★★★★★ Kabab Paradise is excellent. I tried the Venus burger which comes with two patties, swiss cheese, pickles and mushrooms...delicious! The gyro and wings are also superb. They have excellent service that is fast and friendly and the place is very clean. If you are in the area, you must try this place out! Posted on February 20, 2011 |

★★★★★ Hey guys SYED here. Here's the deal, I eat Kabob Paradise every day for lunch in Lake Hiawatha. Than once or twice a week I would go to South bound brook for some dinner. The guys are great, the food is mind blowing and prices are reasonable. So the fact that I practically eat here everyday without getting "sick", without punching a whole in my pocket and satisfy my taste buds on a daily basis tells the story.
My favourites: Lamb Tikka, Lamb Gyro and Hot and garlic wings
Kabob Paradise Rocks. Posted on January 30, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I love Middle Eastern food. I'm a vegetarian and can always go for a good falafel so decided to give Kabab Paradise a try. My first visit was good. The sandwich was small but tasty so I decided to give them another shot on Friday Oct. 29th, 2010. They made my sandwich "extra delicious" as they called it. Can't imagine what the delicious was. This was the biggest mistake of my life. It almost killed me! I had diarrhea for 11 days straight. A fever for close to a week. Didn't even eat for 8 days. I lost 12 pounds and my doctor is happy that I am alive. I'm finally recovered and will never ever go back.
Eat with caution! Posted on November 9, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ I went with my family for the first time several weeks ago. We ordered several different things on the menu, and my favorite were the skewers of chicken kabab and lamp chops.
I did notice, however, after we got home that I was overcharged by A LOT -- however I had no proof because the only receipt I got was my credit card receipt with the total amount (not one which actually stated what i had ordered and what was charged for each item). I was quite disappointed in that manner.
I would keep an eye out for what they are charging you. Posted on November 5, 2010 |

★★★★★ Great food. On my first visit the owners made me a special chappli kabab and I loved it.. Agian slight level of customization was required (to make the food spicy for my taste) and the owners accomodated. I loved their sauces as well...very authentic and fresh. The "hottest" sauce needs a little work. My first order was burgers, chicken platter, mix platter and al carte kebobs. Overall A+++++++ Posted on October 20, 2010 |

★★★★★ Kabab Paradise is simply amazing! If you are in the mood for great Afghani food/burgers, accompanied with outstanding service, this certainly is the place to go. The people there are very hospitable, especially Farhad. What more can one ask for? Take a trip to Kabab Paradise, and you will find yourself going there all the time. Posted on October 2, 2010 |

★★★★★ I had never been to the "original" Kabab Paradise but heard so many good things about it that I was super excited about this one opening up. My first visit to this place, I ordered a plain cheeseburger burger and some wings and must say it left me less than impressed. The burger tasted average for a lack of better words and the wings were awkwardly full sized wings. Never the less, I didn't want to give up after just one visit so I went back and this time tried the "Neptune" burger and mashallah! Amazing. I even brought one of my white friends from work and he agreed that it was one of the best burgers he's had. Farhad and Ali (owners) are class A dudes. Extremely friendly and very inviting. May Allah bless their establishment. Posted on September 29, 2010 |

★★★★★ Kabab Paradise is one of the best zabihah places around and now they have opened a location in central jersey. Right by rutgers off exit 10 off 287. All the amazing items we all love at the original location are at this one as well. My personal favorites the Neptune Burger and the Mix Gyro platter are as delicious as ever. Its truly a luxury having Kabab Paradise so close now, it is def the best spot to eat at in central Jersey with a lot of seating! Also the staff and owners are always friendly and make sure customers are truly satisfied. Posted on September 17, 2010 |
