Mirch Masala bears the name of most basic ingredient of Indian cuisine. Mirch Masala has been the winner of a number of UK restaurant awards, and was recently voted one of the top 100 UK restaurants by the Evening Standard (August 2003).
Mirch Masala was established in 1995 in Norbury, Southwest London, with another branch opening in 2001 in Tooting. The Southall branch was opened in April 2004 and in June 2005, the East London, Croydon and Olympia Mirch Masala branches opened.
