★★★☆☆ I ate here tonight for the first time. It was an average experience. The place is decorated nicely and I really enjoyed the ambiance. I thought the service was really good, our waiter checked on us more than enough times. The food was decent, but not great. I've had much better and for a cheaper price. Unfortunately this area is lacking in halal Indian restaurants, so they don't have too much competition. I thought that the sauce that came with the chicken was good, but the chicken itself wasn't cooked well. In one dish the chicken was very dry - not acceptable for a 15 dollar dish. I also had the butter chicken that most reviews raved about, and I was honestly disappointed. The sauce wasn't bad but it wasn't what I the flavor wasn't what I expected compared to other restaurants/home cooked butter chicken. I'm not sure I'd come back because it's overpriced, especially for the quality. Posted on January 30, 2013
