HALAL SUMMARY
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant.
★★★☆☆ I as a Mauritian was looking forward to eating here and introducing my wife to Mauritian food as it's a rarity within the UK.
I have been on two occasions now and will never be returning- we were met by a very moody member of staff who after trying to not acknowledge us, begrudgingly took our order, sighing as he did so. He practically slid our food on to our table, not concerned with us at all, and continued to shout across the restaurant at a colleague.
The food is average, not amazing at all; quite bland. However, if you want cheap food- this is the place to go.
But for us, the service let the whole experience down. Posted on October 19, 2014
★★★★★ Always go here to get my chicken noodles. By far the best in the area. Good fresh food always. And range of menu so you can pick up a variety of meals instead of visiting 2-3 shops. Always helpful when you have a big family and noone wants the same thing! I would advise to call before hand to order rather than go straight in store because prep time ranges and they are a very popular little store. Posted on December 18, 2010
