★★★★★ For a large catering or banquet hall experience Taj Palace is the best place to go in all of NJ. Their food and their pricing can't be beat. I have done many caterings from them and also formal events, where the food was amazing each time. My guests have given compliments each time of how much they loved the food. ★★★★★ These reviews of Taj are completely misleading. I was also at the Musharraf dinner at the Hilton and DID NOT get sick. I heard rumblings of a few people that may have been affected and when I called the owner he reassured me that these incidents were not related to his food. He said that I was welcome to come by the restaurant to view the health report from the inspector which also verified that the restaurant was not responsible the issues people experienced that night. Also, I know a few of the doctors at JFK hospital and was at a party recently where they all said that none of the medical reports pointed to any kind of food poisioning. In fact, one of the Infectious Diseases doctors said that if anyone, including the health department, had any issues, that they should contact him directly because he would also verify that the food was not to blame. I find it very disturbing that people are spreading these kind of rumors about this restaurant - but then again, what do you expect from our community? This place has catered a majority of the weddings I've been two over that past few years - and everyone raves about the food. I THINK YOU ALL NEED TO GROW UP AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO THAN MALIGN A PERFECTLY GOOD BUSINESS. Posted on November 19, 2009

★☆☆☆☆ I attended the President Pervez Musharraf event that was catered by Taj Palace at the Woodbridge Hilton on October 24th. I have never been so sick in my entire life from food. I had to be admitted to the hospital and was given medication but had to go back because of my illness. The thing that pissed me off the most was that when I talked to the owner about the incident, he completely denied it which he does to this day. I will never, ever recommend anyone to give this location any business. I will be pressing charges to at least have my hospital bill covered by this restaurant. Unless you want your event to be spoiled by food poisoning, by all means, hire this guy. I give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and am very lenient in my reviews, but after what I went through, I want people to be aware of this place. Thank you. Posted on November 2, 2009

★☆☆☆☆ This is place is in questioning for a major food poisioning out burst right now they have provided food for a local event and over 150 people got sick the even was held on 24th of oct at woodbridge hilton if you are effected contact rahway food department asap .. i would never ever take a chance at this location even if health department allow them to reopen ,,,,they are closed as of now because of the outburst Posted on October 28, 2009
