★★★★☆ This is a completely halal Arab restaurant specializing in Moroccan cuisine and various sandwiches. Seating is very limited -- there is only a long counter with some stools, frequently completely occupied -- so bring up to only 1 very understanding friend. Parking is available on-street, but Steinway is usually packed so you might have to park several blocks away. Parking is by braille, so leave the 1958 Mercedes-Benz 190SL convertible in Light Blue Poly at home.
Regrettably, it's been a while since this reviewer has been to this restaurant, but the star here is the hamburger which rivals the best halal hamburgers in NYC. The lentil soup is so-so though it's a good choice on a cold winter night.
4/5 stars, but make it take-out. Posted on January 9, 2017 |

★★★★☆ Seating is very tight but the sandwiches are very good! I do suggest taking it to go though; it's not the most comfortable place to sit in. Posted on August 13, 2013 |
