HALAL SUMMARY
The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.
★★★☆☆ Hit or miss when you buy at the Resturant.
However catering from this place is awesome. Reasonable price and good food. Owner is a known Muslim and pays special attention when you get the catering from him. Posted on August 9, 2014
★☆☆☆☆ Not a good experience. Ordered naan (take away) for family gathering. Most of them were burnt from one side or other!! Will not recommend to anyone. Posted on July 17, 2014
★☆☆☆☆ Probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Ordered BBQ chicken which was plain, samosa chat was a samosa swamped with chopped up tomato/onions (tasted horrible - and I'm a samosa chat fan). Kabob rolls were ok at best. Decor is horrible, it's one of those grocery, butcher, restaurants all in one. Posted on November 23, 2012
★★★☆☆ WE went in for a late lunch type meal...didnt expect anything fancy. saw that it was a halaal meat store with a small grill area inside -these seem to be popping up everywhere in nj now- anyhow, the place seemed super new but super deserted. the shelves were empty and uninviting as a grocery store. the refigerated showcase was empty. and more than half the items we wanted on their grill menu werent even available! we ended up getting just the keema nan and a gosht biryani. both were good. the biryani was too spicey so we came home and added more rice to it. all in all, id say 3 out of 5....im hoping this place can last, because its great to have them so close to our house with decent pricing. they just need to kick it up a notch and actually have their advertised items in stock.
