★★★★☆ This is a halal Tibetan restaurant located in the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens (a South Asian neighborhood with Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi stores and restaurants). Located on a closed-off street, the restaurant has a small store front, so look closely. There is street parking available, but being Jackson Heights, you should definitely leave the 2001 BMW M Coupe (with the S54 I-6) in Laguna Seca Blue at home.
This author tried the restaurant's momos (dumplings with a meat or vegetable filling) during a momo crawl through the Tibetan restaurants of Jackson Heights. This restaurant fares well among the surprising amount of competition nearby and is only one of two such restaurants that can claim to be halal. The chicken, beef, or vegetable momos here ($1) are about as good as they get -- be sure to try them with the tamarind sauce (which separates their momos from the other restaurants).
Overall a great value and a novel halal restaurant to most people. Posted on November 6, 2016
