★★★★★ Troy makes up for its small size and simple furnishings with high quality, authentic food and genuinely friendly service. The owners care about their customers. Their menu is somewhat limited, but it is authentic and the food fresh. Posted on August 30, 2017
★★★★★ Special family-run restaurant offers a delicious Turkish cuisine with traditional tea, sweets and a quiet place to sit and clean and the service was excellent Posted on October 28, 2015
★★★★★ Excellent food and service. Clean, contemporary, family-run restaurant in a strip mall that serves delicious halal/zabihah food. I had the lamb kawurma plate with turkish tea. The owner confirmed and offered the certificate of authenticity. Posted on October 22, 2015
★★★★★ Fantastic place to go to. Went with a work colleague and got kebab plates and it was awesome. They serve tea, soup and turkish dessert complimentary.
Seating is very casual but contemporary.
The restaurant is at the intersection BEHIND the gas station and only says Troy. Posted on January 5, 2015
★★★★☆ This is a brand new family run restaurant, that serves Turkish food. The restaurant is fairly small with about 10 tables, but is nicely organized. The family that runs the restaurant is very nice, and made it a point to tell us the food is all zabihah halal, even though we didn't ask, since our friends already informed us of this. The food was also very good. All entrees are served with complimentary tea, and a small rice appetizer to start the meal. I ordered a mix of chicken and doner, and my wife ordered the iskender kabab. We also had a side of hummus. The chicken and doner were pretty good. However, the Iskender Kabab was top notch. I have eaten Iskender Kebab in Bursa, Turkey, where it originated from, and the one served at Troy was at the same level. The side of hummus was pretty small and fairly average. I don't think I would order that again. Overall this is a good restaurant that is working very hard to expand their offerings, and become a staple in Austin. Posted on October 29, 2014
