★★★★★ I tried this restaurant in 2006 it was great persian food. Then came back again in 2016 food still nice and worth a trial. They have open buffet for lunch for 1200 yen. Their working time is different than shown here. Lunch from 11:00 to 2:30 pm, dinner from 5:30 to 10:30 pm. Its location is great close to roppongi hills. Posted on March 25, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not iranian, nor arabic. Just a bunch of indians and pakistanis pretending to be...
All dishes taste wrong, even the most simple ones are ruined.
Horrible, and overpriced. Posted on September 3, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Horrible food. Not very authentic. The meat had a smell and after taste I left most of my food that I had ordered. Waiter forgot my drink and I had to ask for it again. Only thing good was the naan bread and proper basmati rice. Would not recommend. The waiters are Bengali and by the food today, I think the chef might be too. Avoid at all costs. ★★★☆☆ This place is much too expensive; the chief example of this problem arose when I ordered a plate of kubideh kabob for the equivalent of $14 only to have the waiter ask if I would like rice with the dish! Add another $4 for rice and you start seriously contemplating making a scene by getting up and leaving.
As for the food itself, it was not bad. The fesenjaan was good and the kubideh had rich flavor but it was not better than I am used to at Heidar Baba in Los Angeles.
Avoid unless you are absolutely desperate for Persian (like the cat) food. Posted on June 27, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Located near Roppongi Hills across from Grand Hyatt...Great Iranian restuarant...good food, environment and service...I tried the lamb chops and mix kabobs...Apart from slight meat smell, they were good. I think if you ask for well cooked kabobs, that smell would go away...Definitely a try for someone looking for Hala food in Tokyo... Posted on August 26, 2007 |
