The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. Brisket and Lamb are halal. No pork served. From the Texas Monthly: 'The lamb and the brisket are both halal. Alzer doesn’t advertise it because he wants to be known as Texas barbecue, not just halal barbecue. He doesn’t cook pork. The sausage is all beef, and the ribs are beef back ribs.'
