★★★☆☆ This place is not so clean. Food is average. I would go again only if I am by myself. I will not take any non-muslim friends there because I the environment is not representing a "real muslim" culture in terms of cleanness. Posted on October 21, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ We went to Dimassi's, recommended by friends, thinking it was going to be amazing. We went during the busiest time, Ramadhan...bad choice. It was really crowded and we had a hard time finding a table. They have an all-you-can eat buffet during Ramadhan and during lunch time in regular months. The food was okay and nothing bad. It's self-serve and the fresh bread was really good, one chicken dish was yummy ( I don't know what it's called:/), the salads were really good and the baklava was AMAZING! All in all, we had a filling and satisfiying dinner but I wouldn't go there again for the price. I can get cheaper buffet with better food, elsewhere. Posted on August 20, 2014 |

★★★★☆ The food was good and the price is decent for a dinner buffet. The only complaint I have is the grease on the plates are not washed off all the way and the fish had a strong smell. Besides that, everything I tried was good and the bread was hot and fresh. Posted on May 19, 2013 |

★★★★★ I have spoken to the owners and they personally assured me that the meat is 100% zabihah and hand slaughtered. The food is great though. I love their juicy kabobs and shredded beef and the lamb shank is great. On sundays they have a halva puri brunch and that's always a great to go for family. They even have iftar items during Ramadan and a small section for prayer. The iftar is great. Posted on August 3, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ For those of you who do care about this: The meat/chicken served here is by GreenValley Farms, based in Houston. After I contacted them, they told me that the meat supplied to Dimassi's is not Hand Slaughtered Zabiha. It is machine slaughtered. This means that it is Haram for some people depending on their beliefs. Posted on May 22, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ Must admit that they have variety, but the food is very average. Chicken is quite tasteless and the buffet is relatively pricey. Their beef kababs are quite good. Posted on February 13, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The one in South Austin on William Cannon is pretty good, but the rice pudding had WAY too much rose water in it.
There wasn't any vegetable biriyani like the one on Research either :(.
The one on Research was almost perfect though. Posted on October 16, 2008 |

★★★★★ Excellent spread - there are fish, chicken, lamb, beef, vegetarian dishes. Baklava as dessert along with the regular fruit and sweets. We have been there twice now and have found that 80% of the dishes are the same but the remaining 20% is different.
Price is a little on the higher side though. This has become our defacto restaurant for a good time out. Posted on May 31, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ I had heard abt DiMassis from friends in houston and was excited when I heard that they were opening a branch here. My experience there, however, was disappointing. True there was a lot of variety, but the food was average at best. However, I think i might have still liked it more if the atmosphere had better better. It looks like a huge cafeteria, it is located right off of the highway and has huge bare windows all around which highlight the poor view. Simply putting up blinds and some plants will make this restaurant much more appealing. Posted on April 18, 2008 |
