HALAL SUMMARY
The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.
★★★★★ Pros: Great Food and the Best Price
Everything was good. MUST TRY, Nehari and Haleem.
Naans and Kababs are very cheap. oh and don't forget to have chai.
'A' GRADE and clean place.
Cons: The only thing is that this place is busy (But that means its GOOD FOOD, Right?) Posted on February 10, 2015
★☆☆☆☆ Worst service ever. There were many complaining customers when I was there. The owner was justifying how the customers were wrong in expecting the restaurant workers to deliver the orders on time. I was told 15 minutes to wait for my 8 naans and 20 minutes later I had to walk out empty handed because the wait time went up by another half hour Posted on May 17, 2014
★☆☆☆☆ 1 star because there is no -1 option. The food is OK, not sure about fresh as the earlier reviewer mentioned. Definitely not a place to sit, it looked filthy. I went in to buy chicken kebabs on the go, my son asked me to buy behari chicken. First I was told it was $8, so when I aced the order another guy came from the back and said no this is $10/plate. I ordered it anyways even though that was a red flag. The guys at the counter had never heard of customer service, they over charged me for the two items. On top my stomach is upset since I ate that food. Fortunately there are many better choices here to spend my money, even the food carts on next two blocks have better tasting/fresher food and respect for the customers. Posted on January 21, 2014
★★★★☆ cheap if on the go, a bit pricey if staying in.
What i mean is 50cent naans and dollar kebabs on the go. The price doubles in house
In terms of quality i cant complain about the naan or kebabs, but honestly the bbq is freggin awesome, especially since they have to freshly make it. All bbq is fresh made so you can't go wrong with it.
A in house dinner with my bro, and my parents cost us like 35 bucks, we got 2 naans each, a kebab each, a bbq platter, a chicken something platter, and like 4 sodas and a water
Is it worth it to go to give this place a chance for dinner? Definitely.
I had guests over for a few days, so I just bought like 40 naans, just to make cooking easier on my mom. So you can do that too. Posted on December 31, 2013
