I went there there was a couple of eastern European lads serving there I asked them if it was halal they said yes we got a notice but they couldnt find it the place is also not good for kids and is for posh Hempstead heath residents and is very cramped I just scarpered and headed for edgeware road there's absolutely no parking either.
Overpriced - badly. The burgers are really low quality - something like the 'Mr Spicy' burgers you might find in the freezers at your local halal butchers/grocery store. Honestly, everything here is overpriced, and in many cases the quality is really poor. As for the milkshakes - why does everyone get so excited about them here ? every other review site has the same type of amazed people singing the praises of the milkshakes. Good grief people it doesn't require rocket science to chuck a mars bar, a splodge of ice cream and a cup of milk into a blender for 20 seconds and charge six quid for it... As for the environemnt; it really is not suitable for muslim families. Loud MTV music and loud annoying kids. Large screens with dodgy music videos of scantily clad women... Only go here if you are someone who loves throwing money away on poor quality items and doesn't mind an un-islamic environment. Absolutely atrocious place overall.
I guess this place could be considered the little brother of the Farringdon Tinseltown, in that the menu is the same, prices are still a little high and the milkshakes are definitely worth a try. Seating is a little cramped here, but it has a fairly decent crowd, and is worth a visit.
Pros; -food is clean -food is good quality -Milkshakes.....awsome -American Diner feel about it and attractive to youth market too.... Cons; -Its Pricey -Seating is cramped... Overall; -An interesting alternative to the usual halal resturants i visit..
Food is pricey. The plates are not cleaned properly, food stains on them. Highly recommend the milk shakes!
I've never been to the FArrindon branch but I like this one. The seating's a bit cramped and the food is pricey, but it's good to get a variety of halal western food of good quality. The waitresses providea very friendly service...
