About the Role
As an iOS Engineer at Zabihah, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining our native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI. You'll focus on creating beautiful, intuitive user interfaces that help users discover halal restaurants on the go, with a strong emphasis on providing a polished and responsive user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop beautiful user interfaces for our iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI
- Create reusable UI components and maintain consistent design patterns
- Implement smooth animations, transitions, and micro-interactions
- Integrate with location services, maps, and backend APIs
- Ensure responsive and adaptive layouts across different iOS devices
- Implement accessibility features to make the app usable by everyone
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate visual designs into code
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI
- Experience with iOS frameworks (Core Location, MapKit, Core Data)
- Deep understanding of iOS app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC)
- Strong UI/UX design sensibilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with RESTful API integration in iOS apps
Nice to Have
- Experience with Combine framework
- Knowledge of UIKit and bridging with SwiftUI
- Experience implementing complex custom UI controls
- Experience implementing accessibility features
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration for iOS applications
- Experience with TestFlight and App Store submission process
- Previous work on food discovery or map-based applications
