This is a fairly large masjid in the heart of downtown LA located close to USC. I have been here for Jummah and Isha prayers. The masjid offers a wide variety of activities and events for the community. What I really like about this masjid is that it is really engaged with the Greater community (city of LA) at large. They have done many events with city officials and leadership. It also serves as a commuter masjid for those who work in the area.

For contemporary minded Muslims. One of the most spacious ,well lit and really clean & well kept centers in CA. Every Eid host community brunch with plenty of food ,games and gifts for children.New Muslims and Non Muslims feel comfortable and welcome because worshipers are used to having public schools students and other groups attend Friday prayers and other civic engagement programs. Regular free outreach ,educational and cultural programs and forums.Unlike most other mosques this place is well connected with government agencies ,City officials ,colleges and schools.Only drawback is lack of Islamic school for children.
