Following an elaborate refurbishment programme The Red Fort has opened with a new design that uses the materials of the Red Fort in Delhi in a contemporary way. The overall impression of the newly refurbished Red Fort is one of modern design, influenced by ancient indian tradition creating an intoxicating mix of old and new. Add to this recipe a renowned chef and you have the key ingredients that are whipping up the excitement surrounding the reopening of the Red Fort. The Red Fort was built by Shah Jahan as his court and residence in Delhi. Food is over rated. Your local takeaway is probably better than this place and cheaper to boot.
