Halal sign in window. Agree with the other folks here, hands down some of the best koobideh kabobs I have ever had! The buffet is available for lunch 7 days a week. I have ordered the koobideh kabobs for dinner off the regular menu and have been very satisfied

This is by far the best Mediterranean and Persian restaurant. The food is so fresh and delicious and healthy. The buffet is during the day and has many options and changes everyday. The kabobs are the best in Texas and the stews and rice are amazing. I heard the chef is an award winning chef and I can definitely tell. My friends and family love this place.

Best Koobideh kebab that I have tried so far. Portion is huge and price is reasonable as well. Nice ambience and quite place to enjoy your dinner. I don't know the quality of food at their lunch buffet.

Prices are high and the lamb was very strong and \"bisaan\". This is located inside a shopping market. The quantity and plate size is huge though. There are better persian options close by like shishkabobs.

Worst customer service i have ever seen anywhere. Parent got yelled at for asking if more food was going to be served for the buffet. When we asked them to be more respectable to their elders... we got thrown out. Never ever going to set foot in this restaurant. Look at other reviews and be warned.

I would avoid this place because of the poor customer service. I went here last weekend with my entire family and we were going to take food to go but the owner's daughter was very rude to my mother. She had a bad attitude as soon as we walked in. We have eaten here lots of times prior and the food is good but the service is terrible. Needless to say, we left the establishment without purchasing any food and we will never return.

I just recently moved to Dallas and decided to go to Sahara because of very good reviews here. I went there with my family at 8:45pm but was turned down by the female owner that its already 9:00 pm. It was clearly not the case. Even my 8 year old son noticed that. However I was so disappointed with the attitude that decided not to even argue. Would not go there again.

is this Zabihah Halal or just 'halal'? Does anyone know the source for their meat? Thanks.

One of the best buffets I have ever been to - everything is fresh including their kabobs which they make in small batches and bring hot off the grill. Their chicken shish kabobs taste amazing. The price is fantastic especially since its all-you-can-eat. Service can be a bit slow but overall the place is excellent.

Food is excellent, especially for the price. Had lunch buffet on weekday and it had 3 chicken items and 3 meat items with 1 fish item and many veggie dishes. I would recommend coming early as this place is small and can get conjusted. Good food.

I have always had a pleasant dining experience at Sahara. I eat during the workday lunch buffet which serves well-prepared dishes: dolmas, salad, tahini, tender beef, chicken and lamb, saffron rice, white rice, fresh fruit, and more dishes I cannot recall. Hot and tasty fresh bread. Their hot Persian tea is wonderful And atmosphere is really cozy and friendly along with the service

Because there are so many restaurants in Dallas, it's easy to hop from one to the next. Sahara is a place that values repeat business and the owners and staff recognize customers who come back. Everything I've tried here has been amazing. The meat is extremely good quality so it is good in a wrap or on a salad-specify what you want

I've been to this place and the food was OK. The waiters told me that it was all halal and they assured me and I trusted them. I hope they are saying the truth. It would be nice to see a halal certificate on the wall so that we can have a peace of mind.

The food is average, not bad and not excellent. Even though our 4-year old child did not eat at all (just sat and watched), they still charged for her which was very disappointing. I will not go back there again.

their food is pretty delicious but the owners are cheap ...even if you've bought from them a hundred times they have no sense of customer service...even if the food is good, bad customer service is not attractive

Their beef koobideh's are awesome. Rest of the grill items are very good too. When it comes to taste, this is probably the best Iranian place in DFW.

There aren't too many Irani places, atleast not listed here on Zabihah. Shandiz is the other one, great ambiance for Shandiz - but Sahara really has good food. The best Irani Kabobs I've had are in Houston ar Darban - this would be the closest thing to that. Don't get me wrong, Darban is out of this world - and Sahara is the best you can do without having to drive 4 hours to Houston, and dealing with that traffic. If you haven't been there, try it out! Kabobs are good, come with a huge plate of rice.

Because of that I went while there is an Open Buffet, it was a good chance to test more that one items from their menu. I found that their food is absolutely delicious, Specially the Iranian Kabab. Also, Their way of dealing with customers are very kind and gentle. I asked the owner about their food and they insisted its Halal.

I do agree that the food is absolutely delicious but it is not all Halal. Only certain items on the menu may be Halal depending on their availability. Please confirm your order with the hosting staff before placing it.
