The food is very expensive for what it is, ok for a one off when you wanna try halal american style food in london, but two meals plus drinks/milkshakes etc will cost u in excess of thirty pounds. P.s Muslims are allowed to eat kosher food as Judaism came before Islam and they way of the slaughter was first instructed to them, but its still the same instructions from allah.

Great milkshakes, have not tried food but me and my wife love the milkshakes there.

went here a good few years ago what i remember of them food very average very over priced nothins great

i used to rate this place when i was younger, but like the others say, food quality is not all that, milkshakes are good but overpriced. if you have a premium shakes with extras it could cost u £5! now thats a lot. all the food tastes like it has been microwaved

Apart from the semi-decent milkshakes there is nothing that would allure you to a dark, dismal, overpriced tavern such as this. At my last visit I ordered a salad and found a caterpillar, I was told that my eyes were deceiving me and that it was actually a leaf. Have never been back since.

What can I say - I went with a party of 9 people and spent £180 and ate the steak and other meals - all those that ordered the 'beef steak' though it tasted more like lamb had food poisioning, after various correspondences to complain I found the staff to be unprofessional, unsympathetic and rude. I would not recommend anyone to visit Tinseltown.

I was born and raised in Canada, and true "North American" fare is hard to come by in England, even harder when it's halal! So, I had high hopes. I had a beef steak that was very good and an excellent chocolate malt. However, the veg were frozen not fresh and the gravy was truly awful. The music is loud from the TV which was tuned to a music video channel showing the usual near-porn that passes for MTV output these days. I won't be going back because of that, as I have a 4 year old who is very quick to see and imitate. I'm sure it would be fine for adults who are a little more immune to these things, if you're craving a proper steak.

was recomended as i was craving steak, however after seeing kosher signs near the entrance was dubious about source of meat. milkshkes were good, american atmosphere, wish they were unstunned or hmc approved

Really tacky place with bad food and even worse super-naff decor. This place is a bit seedy and seems to attract unsavoury types at ungodly hours.

As its one of the only halal places that is open 24 hrs a day, I have been here on numerous occasions. Food is pretty standard and the milkshakes are the best. Always found the service good and fast. Only problem is the music, which can make you feel that you are in a club....

Prices seem to have recently gone up - which annoys me. Burgers are good. The caeser salad was good - get it with the chicken and the avocado but overpriced for the portion served. English breakfast is also good - note how the menu says you get fried egg's' with the breakfast but they will bring you just one egg - demand your second one!

Food is terrible and I was appalled by the way we were treated when I asked for a non-smoking section as my wife is pregnant. Avoid at all costs.

Food is below average and quite highly priced. Atmosphere is very dark and dingy. The milkshakes are probably the best thing about the place.

Not many people including myself do not like sitting and eating in a dark basement during the day, thats why the busiest time is post clubbing hours when nothing else is available. Food is ok not worth going back for, service is friendly, they could pay a bit more attention to cleanliness, u feel like ure in a celebrity shrine, quite spooky!

ok food, snickers milkshake was very nice but poor atmosphere

I have been to TInselTown twice - the Snickers milkshake was luvly, as was the Titanic dessert! Nice food overall, a bit pricey but ok - But it's a shame about the constant loud music and tv that's always on - not an ideal environment for muslims - would be better if they played nasheeds instead! :-)

Its Halal, all sorts of options on the menu, reasonable price, 24 hours, has great milkshakes, huge burgers, no alcohol, quick service. There is something for everyone on the menu which is makes this a winner!

Based on Zabihah.com, I went there. At the begining I though it was not halal. But, after seeing the sign, the license and that they do not serve alcohol, I was pleased. This resturant is strogly recomended for as they provide variety of food, not only American but also Chinese and Idian.

Very expensive food and not so good quality. Wont recommend it to anyone.A rip-off in the name of halal food.

Great place to eat and best of all its open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The steak and empire state triple decker burger are particular favourites of mine. Beware though, as the price can spiral to high three figure sums if you a healthy group - milkshakes are nice. All in all, very good fun but keep an eye on the money! Also the music played is a bit too loud and lots of pictures of celeb women on the walls but as a counter they do not serve any alcohol (or allow it in generally). Occasionally you can also spot B list UK celebs and football players there.

Just a stone throw away from my university, i'm a regular at Tinseltown and it's great during the lunch period. They have a special discounted menu until 3pm on weekdays (not too sure about weekends) and offer a 15% discount to students. Well worth it as it's one of the only halal places for miles and the prices are also coherent with other establishments in the area. Well worth a try.

This place is open 24hours and the milkshakes are quite nice. Often the starters are quite good too. I really think that's all that's good about the place - IMHO the main courses are about as good as the average guy could make in his kitchen, and are therefore only suitable for late nite dinner emergencies. If you go late at night you might see some shady types there.

This is great. Halal and 24 hours. the food is fantastic and is best place in London. Milkshakes are divine and Im impressed with teh no alcohol policy too.

Very pleased to have this kind of restaurant. You can eat whatever you like, except the limited kosher food. It is a bit pricey and the portions are a bit small, but still it is good to have a place like this, there should be more. The food is good.
