A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
One of Westbourne Grove's most popular restaurants, Alounak was briefly put out of commission after a serious fire in 2005, but sprung back to life months later without losing its queue-out-the-door popularity. A clay oven greets you at the entrance, where the bread is made fresh, and small touches such as inlaid artwork on the walls, aquarius, and lighted fountains liven up the atmosphere. Alounak offers a BYO alcohol policy but does not serve any itself.

Good Persian food but I have had better at the same price. A bit congested for big parties but at least you can book. Freshly cooked food. I would suggest improving on bread...a Persian bread with Persian food.
one of the best Iranian meals i have had in london, especially their nans on the negative side is the size of the place, because they are always busy , you need to be squeezed in
food was exceptionally good. the kebabs tasted great and the chicken melted in your mouth. the waitresses were a little unfriendly and looked confused but towards the end, they got friendlier. the lassi was a little off, but over all a great experience
Nothing Special about this place, just your average persion / middle eastern cuisine
