About Mevlana
Mevlana was established in 2006 and it is a fully licenced, air conditioned restaurant with a refrigerated display of raw kebabs, a steaming, sizzling ocak grill, a hot table laden with simmering stews and braises. Hot pide and sac breads accompany starters of lentil soup or garlicky cacik, and ezme is a winning dish of roasted aubergine mashed with olive oil, fresh tomato, green herbs and hot pepper. A great find on our night out in Enfield! A nice selection of bread, salad and pickle was served before our main meal (reminds me of our holiday in Turkey). Nicely cooked food from the diverse menu. All food served by traditionally dressed waitresses. Polite and friendly service.
