I can't believe the fact this place actually has been reviewed in such a positive light. Although I ordered something full proof I was amazed that the food was not cooked properly and I scored a hair. I suspect that a part of the chicken may have been recycled or was missing in action.

I was keen to have a proper meal in Gold Coast and I chanced upon the signage for this restaurant when I exit from Q1 Tower. I was relieved to see them indicating that they serve halal food; in the signage outside but was apprehensive to see their extensive liquor collection in the bar. Thankfully, I chanced upon this (framed) Halal logo is their display area and it seemed that this restaurant is even endorsed by this particular Muslim travel agency. Their North Indian food is good, though with reduced spiciness (maybe to accomodate to the locals). The cheese, garlic & plain naans were soft. They were freshly made and came piping hot. I had the beef korma (mild), palak paneer, chicken tikka masala (my fave!) and this curried mushroom & peas. They also use good quality basmati rice. I was surprised to see that they serve kangaroo meat here but I daren't try. Service is promt. Well, we were te only ones in there, that time. You can't be in a hurry to dine here cos' they only prepare the food upon our order and it sure takes time!
