Food was good, and halal insha Allah. Only thing is name is misleading as they do not actually serve kabob.

This is a completely halal (verbally verified by the staff) restaurant serving a unique fusion between South Asian and Mexican food. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant, though this reviewer went off-peak times. The restaurant is located in College Park, Maryland so expect plenty of University of Maryland students around. Parking is available in the restaurant\'s lot, but it\'s a bit tight so you\'ll want to leave the 1992 BMW M5 Touring (340hp in 1992!) at home. The menu has 5 different styles of sandwiches/salads, including a naan wrap, naan quesadilla, salad bowel, masala corn chips, and naan pizza. Choose the style you want, then choose a filling (spicy chicken tikka, mild malai tikka, paneer, falafel, etc.) and then go down the line adding toppings (rice, peppers, onions, pico de gallo, corn-mango salsa, mint chutney, tamarind, and so on). This author tried the Krazi Naan Wrap with spicy chicken tikka and too many toppings to remember ($8). The Naan Wrap is essentially a (muy gordito) burrito served inside a large naan. The chicken tikka flavor and variety and quality of the ingredients sets this apart from a standard Chipotle burrito (which at its best does not rise to its South Asian challenger). Be sure to add the corn-mango salsa and mint chutney. Consider the melding of South Asian and Chinese cuisine, and it\'s clear that the fusion of Mexican and South Asian food is long overdue. Definitely worth a visit.

Best food I have eaten in DC, owner and staff were very friendly and honest, my wife left her bags over there and all we had to do was give them a call and we got it next morning, excellent food and service.

Assembly line setup similar to Chipotle and Qdoba, but the taste is far from them. Krazi Kabob should consider making the naan thinner and the food more flavorful. The chicken and beef wraps are very bland and tasteless.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exotic fusion of this place (Indian/Mexican). i had the Chicken Naan wrap and it was out of this world! the taste was fresh and the flavors were all there. The wrap was a very healthy size...i actually thought i would have some to save for later, but once i started eating it, i couldnt stop :-)

If you've been to Chipotle (R), you'll know how it works here as well. Start off with a naan or a bowl, and just keep adding things till you get to the end. Notes: I always get the chicken. I have tried the steak and beef and I prefer the "spicy" chicken. There are 2 types of chicken. The food can get pretty spicy if you add all of the "spicy" things. The one who is making your meal will usually say "spicy" before each spicy ingredient.

So I've been to Merzi in penn quarter (DC) and liked how they did the indian-halal-chipotle. I came here after seeing a blog posting about this place and was greeting by the owner who was happy to show our party of 6 what he had to offer. Although this place wasn't as fancy as Merzi, it did have a similar idea, albeit more "cheesy." Krazi Kabob isn't a kabob place by any means. Instead, the use the idea of Chipotle but focus more on paki-mex by using ingredients such as tandoori chicken on nachos. While presentation isn't one of their strong suits, the customer service is. The owner even told us not too order too much as they had large portions. The food was also just as wonderful and having the owner make us chai was icing on the cake---or chutney on the samosa!

Although the name has "Kebob" in it, it's not your ordinary "kebob/kabab" place. Which is why I think it's called "KRAZI Kebob". It's basically a combination of Chipotle, Qdoba and Taco Bell in a halal desi version. The Chicken is quite awesome and the naan and everything in that place is fresh and awesome. The atmosphere is great and clean, they have a nice sink outside the bathroom area for customers who just want to use to wash their hands (which could save time for others who need the restroom). They have a nice sized TV and customer service is awesome. They carry only coke product drinks (sorry for the pepsi fans) It's literally walking distance from College Park campus. Which I'm assuming is a great spot for all you party animals since a hookah bar is like 2 stores down. Only downpart is not related to the store, the parking. .50c I think is how much you owe the meters. That is if you wish to stay for a long time. When my friends and I went last week. We were there for like 45 minutes and I didn't pay the meter and didn't get ticketed. But that's at your own risk (Which I happen to take a lot of ) Definitely worth the stop. Not your usual Kebob joint, It's something unique. I was surprised and impressed on my first visit!

I am so hooked. I was having Chipotle withdraws when I found this place. My first time there I got the Naan chicken wrap. I love naan, I love chicken but I never knew how good they could be together in a burrito-like fashion. Since then I have tried the quesadillas and burrito bowls. I have yet to be disappointed! The owners/operators are very kind, the portions are huge, and the place is very clean. It has become an after Jummah tradition for me, hubby, and mom-in-law, who are hooked also. Just be sure to bring change for the meter (about $.50 if you plan to sit in) and you wont be disappointed either.
