I went there, and was very surprised how attentive the staff was. They immediately asked if they could be of service, and if I needed help finding any products. Roots is a mix between Trader Joes and Whole Foods. It has international aisles and fresh organic produce. When I did speak to a manager, the only halal items they had in stock, were frozen meals from Saffron Roads. I would return to Roots, for groceries, and a very hip shopping experience, but most likely not to buy halal products--as they were limited. Very high quality of customer service.
