Rudys Mediterranean Grill

The red lentil soup is awesome here. The waitress told me the entire menu is halal. This is very conveniently located near my work. The pide is awesome too. ***---UPDATE 10/27/2015---*** I tried this place again and was horrified. We ordered take out and it wasn't good at all. It's definitely hard to verify it's halalness, I get different answers from different people working there. Despite my earlier experience, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I went there to get the menu, and first thing I saw was a full bar with people drinking alcohol. From decor or staff it didn't appear to be owned by muslim. As "WantHalalFood" above (1/31/12), has mentioned they are also selling pork items. Third page of their menu details the drinks available (http://www.rmgrill.com/menu.html). You can check their website, specially the "Turkish Night". You decide, even if they are serving halal, would you go there.

I was there last week and thoroughly enjoyed my kabob platter. My friend ordered the combo kabob platter but it lacked in quantity. Please note: Not everything on the menu is halal. The owner pointed out that the fried food is not halal, grilled food is. I also had a Manager's coupon for 15% off dinner menu but it wasn't availed as the Manager was out delivering food. Maybe the service and quantity might improve with time.....

I really wanted to give it a try to this place and despite the good and neat environment and feel of quality of the place, there was one very basic reason that I chose NOT to eat at this place: they are selling pork products. I don't know who added halal summary section to this restaurant but I don't understand how a restaurant which sells pork products and can be authorized as Halal by and "Islamic" organization at the same time? For the sake of fairness, again, the restaurant looks quite nice, and may/can offer quite good food for regular customers, but if it is selling pork products, it shouldn't be listed here as a halal restaurant and mislead people (specifically with a quite likely false "halal summary")

Excellent Turkish food! The Doner Kabob was a refreshing departure from the traditional halal food choices we usually get. Grilled Lamb Adana was bursting with flavor. My 9 year old didn't want any of these foods. We ordered a Waffle with fresh Strawberry and whipped cream. That turned out to be another excellent selection. Rudy's Grill menu is dominated by traditional continental food. We also had quite some help from the waiter and the manager. Having said all these, not everything in the menu is halal. Please check with the restaurant. The slice of cake we bought for dessert wasn't fresh. Furthermore, if you are looking for spicy food this is not your destination.
